Sunday, July 19, 12:30 - 3:00 PM A Slow Food Madison Tour of the Community of Cheesemakers from the Uplands of Southwestern Wisconsin Spend an afternoon visiting four of our cheesemakers who represented Wisconsin at Slow Food Terra Madre: The Meeting of World Food Communities in October 2006. Visit their farms and businesses, learn about the techniques used to produce their superior products, and taste their cheeses. The event is limited to 40 people to enhance your field trip experience. The tours are split into two groups and each group will visit two cheesemakers. One group will visit Willi Lehner of Bleu Mont Dairy, and Mike and Carol Gingrich of Uplands Cheese Company. The other group will visit Anne Topham of Fantôme Farm, and Julie and Tony Hook of Hook's Cheese Company, Inc.
